Corporations are evolving to actively benefit and protect employees, but HR’s efforts are pitted against employee wellness due to outmoded practices. Human Resources can be a powerful contributor to our new capitalism but is flawed because HR is unknowingly beholden to outdated policies.

These policies prevent HR from acting in the interests of employees. This dilemma is reflected in the #MeToo Movement, when rampant workplace harassment was reported en masse. Employees lack safety and security at work, and that must change to accommodate this new capitalism.
